Ballinamore Sports Hall was built by Ballinamore Area Community Council and was the result of many years of project development and funding applications by the Community Council, which culminated in a purpose built sports facility including basketball courts, badminton courts, gym area, changing rooms, reception area and provision of parking areas, public lighting, paths, installation of services and access roadways. Fair faced blockwork throughout and structural steel construction.
